Somerset House is a spectacular neo-classical building in the heart of London, sitting between the Strand and the River Thames. During summer months come and watch our 55 fountains dancing in the courtyard – and have a paddle if the weather’s warm enough! From November to January you can skate on London's favourite ice rink, which celebrates its 10th birthday this year. Somerset House also hosts open-air concerts and films, contemporary art and design exhibitions, family workshops and free guided tours of spaces usually hidden to visitors. This summer don’t miss our pop-up Bombay Sapphire Dusk Bar on the River Terrace, designed by Tom Dixon and open daily from noon till midnight.
